Some examples developed by member organizations in FP7 on district issues:

  • ANIKETOS Project ( Secure and trustworthy composite services ), security area;

  • eDiana Project ( Embedded Systems for Energy efficient building ) – ambito energia;
  • EULER Project ( European software defined radio for wireless in join security operation ) – ICT area.

  • SM4ALL Project (Smart Homes for All, an embedded middleware platform) – “ambient intelligence” area;

The District has promoted the direct participation of its member bodies with particular reference to Horizon 2020 and to programs of regional interest such as Alcotra, MED; Maritime.
