INVITATION:

On behalf of Prof. Girdinio, President of CPEXPO International Scientific Committee, we are glad to invite you to contribute to the CPEXPO 2013 International Conference and Exhibition on October 29th-31st, 2013 in Genoa, Italy. CPEXPO 2013 will be hosted in the prestigious Genoa Fair, Hall B, designed by Atelier Jean Nouvel. CPEXPO 2013 will use two floors and a total exhibition space of twenty thousand square meters.  CPEXPO 2013 will feature high-value plenary conferences, thematic workshops, live and integrated demonstration and research areas, and an advanced technology exhibition. The primary objective for CPEXPO is to create the most compelling conference program possible.


We are pleased to invite you to contribute to CPEXPO 2013 in one or more of the following ways:

- Call for Papers: to present projects, products, innovative initiatives and results

- Call for Workshops: to share ideas and meet delegates with common interests on a particular policy, technology or research and engage in a constructive dialogue on them

- Call for Demo: a unique opportunity to demonstrate solutions, products and services for the protection of critical infrastructures in an integrated way, in a realistic setting, based on a working city, as the place of high concentration of interconnected critical infrastructures

 

All accepted papers will be published in printed conference books/proceedings (ISBN) and will also be made available online. Like previous conferences, extended versions of selected papers will appear in journals and edited research books (publishers will include: Springer, Elsevier). After the conference, a significant number of authors of accepted papers of CPEXPO will be given the opportunity to submit the extended version of their papers for publication consideration in these books.

 

The primary objective for CPEXPO is to create the most compelling conference program possible. CPEXPO International Scientific Committee will evaluate all the contributions received, according to the CPEXPO Terms of Reference.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

June 20, 2013: Submission of Papers, Workshops and Demo for evaluation

July 15, 2013: Notification of acceptance/not-acceptance

August 31, 2013: Early-bird registration

October 29-31, 2013: CPEXPO 2013 International Conference on Community Protection and Critical Infrastructures security, efficiency, reliability 

November 10, 2013: Camera-Ready Papers Due for publication

 

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS/ABSTRACTS, WORKSHOPS, DEMOS:

Prospective authors are invited to submit their proposals by downloading relevant PDFs, filling them in and sending them according to the rules in the forms themselves:

Submissions must be sent by June 20th, 2013 and must be in either MS doc or pdf formats. All reasonable typesetting formats are acceptable (later, the authors of accepted papers will be asked to follow a particular typesetting format to prepare their final papers for publication.)

CPEXPO International Scientific Committee will evaluate each received proposal according to the CPEXPO Terms of Reference. Papers submitted and accepted in response to this announcement will be published in the Final Edition of the proceedings which will go to press soon after the conference.
